Model Collection

RCAHMS model collection includes:

• An architectural model of Gribloch, Stirling by Sir Basil Spence
• A wood and plaster model of the Scottish National War Memorial by Robert Matthew and Sir Robert Lorimer
• Nine Irvine Development Corporation models which show a number of proposed developments for Irvine
• Models of the Scottish Parliament building by EMBT/RMJM

Some of the models in our collection show complete buildings or design schemes and others are for small bits of buildings, such as the perspex model of the Great West Window at Coventry Cathedral in the Sir Basil Spence Archive.
