New Book Captures the Magic of Scotland From the Air
19 October 2009
Unique imagery from Scotland’s National Collection of Aerial Photography is being published for the first time in one volume.
The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) holds the National Collection, with some of its earliest images dating from just after the end of World War One. These, combined with images taken by RCAHMS’ own aerial photographers, have created a book that shows Scotland from a perspective that many never experience.
