Improvements to the RCAHMS Store

Major improvements are underway to change how the RCAHMS National Collection is stored within its Edinburgh premises at John Sinclair House.

The work will increase the capacity and quality of the specialist archival storage that RCAHMS can provide, leading to improved public access.

The work will result in some disruption to our public service from 1 February to the end of May 2012. The public search room services will be maintained throughout the period, but there will be no access to some catalogued drawings and manuscripts for visitors and customers. We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused while the improvement work is ongoing.
