Order Images and Data
Our Photographic Department can supply copies of the photographs, drawings, books, manuscripts and other items in our Collections. RCAHMS permits their use in publications, newspapers, exhibitions, TV programmes and online, subject to a licence agreement.
We can supply digital images, photographs, same size copies of drawings, photocopies and lasercopies, GIS and database downloads and reports.

You can now order and licence RCAHMS images online
Ordering existing digital images: find the image in the Canmore database, click the ‘order image’ link under each digital image and fill in the online order form
Ordering photographic prints or items which haven’t been digitised: find the item in the Canmore database, click the ‘order a copy of this item’ link under the item and fill in the online order form. Alternatively, if you are ordering several items and already know their reference numbers, you can use the online Order Form link on this page

Prices for commercial use
- For commercial orders, complete the same order form and we will quote according to your licensing requirements.
- Orders of up to 20 items take 15 working days from the date of your licence acceptance
- Fast Service orders (when available) take 5 workings days and are charged at double the standard price
- Student discount of 25% on all orders received through an academic email address
